A short Remembrance Service will be held from 10.45 on Sunday 8th November by the war memorial on the village green, with a silence at 11am and a British Legion wreath laid on behalf of the village.
A risk assessment has been undertaken by Fawkham Parish Council and, based on numbers attending in previous years, the event is considered safe to go ahead. Attendees are asked to maintain a social distance from those not in their household/support bubble and to wear masks if possible. Unfortunately, we will not be able to sing a hymn this year. A QR code will be available to use with the track and trace app, or attendees will be asked to leave their contact details for that purpose.
