Karen moved to Fawkham with her family in 2023, attracted by its rural setting and countryside charm. It has not disappointed and she is making the most of tranquil country walks with Max, the family’s Cavapoo; often combining long walks with a visit to the village pub. As an employment lawyer working in London, she appreciates the peaceful balance the parish offers. Karen enjoys travelling, live music and perfecting her plan to convince her husband that such lovely surroundings warrant at least two family dogs.
As a relatively new member to the parish, and with a young family, she is keen to become more involved in the local community, helping to maintain Fawkham as a welcoming and thriving place for all who live and work in the area.
